Routine physical exams aren't something that's done in my country. Here you only go to see the doctor if you have some kind of health related complaints, not just for the sake of it. It's seen as a waste of time for the doctor and the patient and it also lowers the risk of getting false positives that might lead to unnecessary stress and worrying for the patient.

I usually get my whole thing like dental, physical, eyes, etc done a few days or weeks after my birthday so I don't have to do it later. Basically the beginning or the month since my birthday is in march.

This might sound crazy but I'm 24 and I've never had a physical.. I live in canada so with the "free" healthcare I should probably get on that. But i basically only see my doctor if I'm sick or I need medical attention for whatever reason. I just gave blood for the first time yesterday and my blood pressure and iron levels were normal. I get Pap tests/ pelvic exams done regularly on yime and Ive never had an issue with anything so I just don't bother with a full physical exam.

I don't get routine physical exams.  It's been a while-years.  why? because the crappy insurance offered by my job, that I'm forced to purchase, doesn't cover it.  it only covers catastrophic incidents, which is absurd.  I don't have another option.  I just don't have the extra money to pay for insurance and to pay for all of my doctor's visits/check-ups, when my insurance covers none of it.  the only one I'm willing to keep up with and pay out of pocket for is my obgyn, for reproductive health.

like a month ago. and I had to get it. I. pregnant. 
before that it was 2 years because I needed it for my job. 
I got my first pap at 21 and my next one at 28. if I dont need to see the doctor i won't. I'm terrified of them.
