Is it possible to love two people at once?

I have been in an on and again off again relationship with my boyfriend for almost three years (we’re more on then off) The last time we broke up, I met this guy and instantly fell for him. But now my “boyfriend” wants to get back together. It’s not fair to either of them but, I think I love them both.

You can't love them both. I think what's happening is you've been with this guy for 3 years and have created so many memories that it's hard to let go. But if you loved him this new guy wouldn't be in your mind. I say think about who you want to be with. If you have stronger feelings for the new guy then go for him. But if you can't see yourself leaving your boyfriend then forget the other guy and focus on making your relationship with your boyfriend better.

It does happen, and well you have to choose.
Here's a story for you: Before I was engaged I was in love with two men, my now husband, and one guy that would never choose me. I waited for him, told him so many times how I felt, but he would never make the move. He always thought he "had time".  It was to the point where I thought I was chasing him and that I cared way more about him than me. We only talked, nothing else during this time. 
At the same time, I was dating my now husband and beginning to love him more and more. He was always there, caring, loving me, treating me how I should be treated. Other guy would maybe talk to me every once in a while, and I chose the man that treated me better. 
Even now I still care deeply for the first guy, he's still one of my friends, but I'm happy with my husband and my life. First guy now regrets his choice, but he made it, and I don't.

girl let me tell you. I'm basically going through the same thing. my bf of 2 years faced deportation. he lied to me and hurt me. while he was in jail I feel for this new guy. I grew strong deep feelings for him. then I started to feel for my ex again...I missed him and felt like I wanted him. I ended things with my new man and tried it out with him but I just missed my current ex. long story short. I've been going two months without knowing who I want. I don't want to lose either of them and I'd rather lose both than have to choose. I love then both. I know I do. it's hard. one of the hardest things I've had to face in life so far. I think it's possible. The thing is you can't seriously hope to be involved with both at the same time in spite of what you may be feeling. Some people do try polygamous relationships but I'm not sure if it works out in a case of two guys+one girl. I would have an honest conversation about it with both of them separately,  keeping in mind they both might walk away. Tell them how you really feel and what you really want  (if you already know ). If you don't know tell them that too.
