Sex after c-section??

My c-section was 4 weeks ago and I'm dying to have sex again. My partner on the other hand is terrified that if we don't wait 6 to 8 weeks that we'll hurt me. There's no way in hell I can go another 4 weeks. Should we give it a try or is it too risky?

We didn't wait but took it very slowly and gently the first time lol we only made it 3.5 weeks lol but I had a really good c section recovery. Everyone is different

If you don't wait, you're risking serious infection and internal hemorrhaging. It's very dangerous. Plus you're incredibly fertile right now, doesn't matter if you're breastfeeding.

I would wait to have actual sex but you can get each other off I've gotten myself off a few times and I'm only 4 weeks and this was a week or two ago there's nothing that's saying you can't have an orgasm just nothing inside the vagina for 6 weeks

Wait. I developed a hematoma that caused my incision to open above it and it took months for it to fully close again. Just because you feel ready doesn't mean your body truly is. I learned that the hard way.
