Are you supposed to check IUD strings?
I got the Liletta IUD today and I’m on my period and I asked about the strings after and she said I don’t have to worry about them and that I shouldn’t go checking for them. Is this normal? I’ve read you’re supposed to check for them. She also said I need to come back for a follow up check- is that pretty standard? I’m a little paranoid.
