When you first had sex, did your period start being extremely irregular?

hey guys. I lost my virginity about a year and a half ago. I'm 19, almost 20. Ever since I lost my virginity, my period has been extremely irregular and I'm getting really tired of dealing with it like this. I never know when mother nature is going to hit. I don't take birth control because I don't have insurance😑😑. We use condoms and in the correct way as well. I just was curious if others had the same issue. It's really annoying when you're about to go out of town and in a hotel with your bae for 3 daysvbut don't want to have sex because you think it will make your period even later than it already is. What's your experience?
