irregular bleeding?

Hi I have Mirena IUD and it's now two months since I had it in. my first period with this IUD was long like spotting and it lasted for two weeks but this time it was really heavy bleeding and it's only lasted for four days now. Please tell me it's normal.

I think your body may still be adjusting! I've had an IUD for a almost a year now and my period is mostly gone. When it shows up it's irregular, with a very light flow. When I had just had it placed however, my first period was pretty intense (if I recall correctly!)

Oh, also - At the beginning I did have 2-3 weeks of mostly consistent spotting and then like a few months of occasional but less frequent spotting. Your period will be a little weird for a while but it eventually gets easier to handle!

Totally normal! I'm 9 months into my IUD and my periods are still on some weird roller coaster. Last month I felt like Satan himself was pulling my vagina out (it looked like it too) and this month I can hardly notice it. A lot of spotting happened the first couple months, so feel free to stock up on liners. Your underwear will thank you 😘
