Are you okay with your husband/boyfriend going to the strip club?

My boyfriend is NOT okay with me ever going to a strip club, but he has gone several times with his guy friends and then lied to me about it (even though I always find out). I’m not thrilled about him watching practically naked women, but the lies hurt me even more.

It blows me away the amount of women on here who have men who 'forbid' them to do things, like go to strip clubs and show skin. How old are you ladies and when did your dude become your father? We enjoy going together; but i wouldn’t mind him going with friends...we aren’t married but have been together ten years. trust is second nature at this point. i also think we might be in a small percentage of people that admit to each other when we see attractive people, because it happens. it doesn’t mean we love each other less or want to end our partnership. with strip clubs—these girls are working and want nothing to do with the people they are entertaining, besides their money. just my opinion

I would have no problem with it. HOWEVER, there is a problem with him lying to you about it and the double standard in that he wouldn't want you to go to one.
