Waiting Until Marriage?

I would like to hear people’s opinions about waiting until marriage to have any kind of sexual relationship. All religious stereotypes set aside! I do have my own opinion, but I’m curious to see what other people think before I share my opinion.

To each their own--but I feel (and have witnessed) that when couples wait until marriage, they tend to jump into marriage more quickly, which I think is the real danger. I think it's usually smartest to really get to know someone for quite some time before marriage (and statistics prove divorce is much lower in couples that date for 2 or more years)

I wouldn’t want to wait until marriage, but I do want to wait until I’m older. I think having sex before marriage is probably a smart thing to do. But if someone wants to wait, that’s fine. I don’t particularly care what others do as long as they don’t expect others to do the same as them just because that’s their belief.

I think sexual compatability is important in a relationship. You need to know if you mesh in every way before marriage
