Ex boyfriend

So me & my ex boyfriend are or were talking .. Well I think I pushed him away cause I have a lot of pride . & I always start the arguments . He came back because he said he wanted to work things out, to see if I would change .. Well now we've been arguing & stuff for stupid things. That don't even matter . Well he said " we tried it's not gonna work out we argue too much we don't have that bond , you said you'll change but you didn't " well I want him to stay he says he has feelings just that he doesn't think it'll work out . What do I do to make him stay I don't want to beg .
