Ttc at 18? Opinions

Do you think it's okay to ttc at 18? I'm financially stable and everything I've got my own place n I live with my dog n partner who stays with me most nights. I'm really just considering it so that my grandmother has the chance to meet my baby before she passes away , she's like my mom n I want her to be there for that she's living with severe COPD.

If you are thinking about a child just because of your grandmother then my opinion would be no. As nice as that sounds it's really not a logical reason to bring another human being into this world. My husband father passed away from lung cancer 3 years ago. My husband often tells me that he wishes his dad could be here to see our son but doesn't regret waiting to have him one bit.

If you truly believe your partner will continue to be your parter for the next 18+ years, then maybe. But if you're not sure if he is 'the one' I wouldn't risk bringing a baby in the world who may or may not have a stable home with both parents. (Not saying single parent homes are unstable, it's just easier for them to become unstable)

If youre financially & mentally stable the go ahead. Having a baby is alot of responsibility. I wish i would of waited, just a little longer.
