Took opk with no second line at all but have ewcm.. wtf?

Ok this is my 10th cycle. I am comfortable with knowing my body. I normally do not ovulate the same cycle day every month but it's normally a day before or after. Anyways, I always have faint lines for days before I get my peak, I don't even have that yet on my opks. Cervix is open and soft and high. My bbt hasn't dipped yet. I also have no cramps. I cramp during ovulation, and this month I'm taking herbs which my doctor told me would most likely intensify the cramps to the point I'll know which side I ovulate from. Could increased time of ewcm be from adding herbs in my diet? Has anyone experienced this? I want so bad to get pregnant this cycle!!!!
