Someone explain how someone with a STD can just go around trying to get laid like it's not a big deal?

People literally have sex with other people and don't tell them they have a disease. Just to have sex. I cant think of anything more messed up.

By law the only one you have to tell people about is HIV/AIDS. Now working with patients with HIV I tell them to inform everyone even if it's another STD as well. Or maybe they thought it was treated. Or maybe the really just don't care.

I think that if you have an incurable STD the person should be required by law to tell their new partner... but some people are just douchebags, nobody wants that like come on, if you have genital herpes why not find someone who has it too?  Or take your meds to keep the viral load low and use protection... bah

denial...and low self esteem or respect for others. After working for PP for 5 years I've seen all kinds. But most are just scared as Hell.....they get treated and do better with their choices.

My boyfriend of two years at the time had herpes.. apparently his whole family had it, nobody gave me any type of warning. When I got pregnant and he broke into my house to try and kill me, I obviously had a lot of stress and had my first outbreak.. it was miserable.. i think he did it out of control.

If a person knows they have an std and sleeps around without telling their partners I think it's In the mentality that if they have it, everyone should have it. Or they're just In denial and don't want to even admit to their selves that they are infected.

My step sister does this she has herpes. And she constantly sleeps with people unprotected and never tells them some actually have girlfriends.. My brother in law jus confronted her and went off. Its not safe or right in any way for her to be doing that. And she has 3 kids..

It depends on if they know they have one or not some people intentionally give them to others while others don't know they have them and give to other people by accident
