sex pain during ovulation??

According to Glow I am in my ovulation period. I am new to checking my cervix so I'm not sure if I'm doing it right. But today when my husband and I had sex, I noticed it hurt and usually doesn't. It almost felt as if he was hitting my cervix with every thrust. This happened once last month also. The sex was no different than any other time when we are in that position, not harder and anything.  Could it be just the position of my cervix during my fertile window? Thanks for any feedback. I hope I explained it well enough to understand.
