Severe stomach pain

I woke up in the middle of the night from a dead sleep, feeling like I was being stabbed through my belly button. The pain was so bad that I woke my husband up before I was even fully awake, from moving and moaning. I've had this pain at least twice before but the last time was a while ago. I don't think it's appendicitis(even though google seems to think so lol). But my husband and I had sex last night and it got pretty rough (he can be a little too big for me sometimes) and I don't know if that would cause pain like that or not? I've also been having almost as bad pain/cramps throughout the day. Has this ever happened to any of you before? I'm thinking it's from the sex but I'm not sure..
