If you need a pap, they will do one. It's no big deal. I thought I would get one but I had one within the year and my dr said I only need one every 3 years since "I'm a good girl." 😂

I went in at 5 weeks for my first appointment and got a pap smear since I needed to anyway.   They also tested for stds.

I got my pap before we started ttc at a pre-pregnancy check up.

A lot of people think that the dr is doing a Pap smear when they do their first exam when finding out your pregnant, I thought that too until the nurse explained it to me! The first pelvic exam when pregnant is testing you for different std and bacterias it's not a Pap smear! They won't do a Pap smear until after your over the bleeding from giving birth!

I would have needed one in Feb, so they did it at my 8 week appt when they did the STD testing.

My first appointment I was 6 weeks 6 days and they did one just to make sure everything was normal!

i had mine 2 weeks berfore i found out i was pregnant so the doctor dident make me 😂😂
