Teething and diarrhea

Before I ask, I'll throw it out there I'm a nurse and I plan on calling my doctor if it gets worse.

Any teething babies get diarrhea? I've always heard from doctors it's an urban legend but then I've heard from others swear their LO always has diarrhea when they teethe. My daughter has had diarrhea for 2 days. No new foods or other symptoms, eating and drinking just fine but drooling up a storm. Worse than her bottom 2 teeth she already got. Thanks mamas!
