whats the difference other than price? does the more expensive kind work better? last longer? the store bought kind.

I would not mess around with boxed hair dyes. I tried that once and never again. It didn’t even really color my hair and it caused damage that I then had to go to the salon and get a treatment for. It’s best to go to a salon and get it colored professionally. It’s worth the cost to have it done right.
