PCOS and affording a baby

Kaylyn

Alright guys I have searched for this in other forms with no luck so maybe someone can shed some light on this for me!

I was diagnosed with PCOS last month and was confirmed I had an early miscarriage in June. Since then my husband and I have wanted to keep trying. But, me being the budget pinching wife that I am, am freaking out.

My husband and I have both graduated college, have full time jobs, bought a house and have been doing everything 'right'.

However, *dun dun dunnnnnnnn*

We have student loans. A LOT. And these aren't a "oh, wait a few years and pay off some loans first" because they are just TOO big. Like, what were we thinking... but we wouldn't have met if we didn't go to college, so I do not regret it.

So, here's my question. What do I do!?

We have some odds against us. I have PCOS and have already had a miscarriage. I am 'young' being almost 25, but it could take years for us to conceive. I am toying with the idea of going back on BC to have normal cycles again, but what if by doing that I miss my chance to have a child of our own.

I believe we could provide for a child, and do it well. But my God, having student loans leaning over our shoulders make me so nervous.

This is a talk I know my husband and I need to have, and we are ultimately the ones who know what's best. But I want to know if anyone else is in the same boat?

Please give me some hope ladies!
