Baby not moving during ultrasound

Ashley

Anyone have their little one refuse to move during an ultrasound during their last couple of weeks? We are 35 weeks and three days today, and on Saturday our little one went on a hour and a half kicking and twirling storm. Then they just abruptly stopped and movement decreased like crazy since then. I barely felt them move today, so we went in for a not, which little one passed, but when the tech was checking on them with the ultrasound, they refused to budge. Absolutely no movement from legs and arms.We saw a couple tiny movements in one hand and a small torso wiggle, but other than that, they would not move at all. We were also told that they are now in the 40th percentile, which is a significant change from the 58th from two weeks ago :-/

We also had it confirmed that I was right and that the baby is transverse. I had a feeling that was the case, but now that it's been confirmed, we are slightly worried as the doctor told us that there is a high chance that they are not going to turn before then, which means we will probably have to schedule a c section. While the thought of a c section is kind of scary, I'm ok with it, but we are worried since we live a little over an hour from our hospital, and are afraid of going into labor and having to deal with a prolapsed cord.

Any input would be great. Trying to calm down and reassure ourselves that our little one is going to be ok.
