Follicle question.

Might be a stupid question but I’ve looked and looked. Does your follicle count increase after possible ovulation?

So I’ve been going in for my transvaginal ultrasounds CD 2 - 6 on the right and 7 on the left.

CD 15 - 6 on the right and 7 on the left with one follicle on right enlarged (ovulation possible).

CD 21 - 7 on the right and 9 on the left with free fluid present (looking like I did ovulate).

But why are my follicle counts higher? I have to meet with doctor again in 2 weeks to go over all my results including my husbands semen analysis. But I am so impatiently waiting...
