Pain in ovaries and back?

Three hours ago I was trying to get up off a hardwood floor and I twisted at the lower waist and felt a quick pain and pop that only was relieved by laying back down straight for a second. All I feel now is a dull ache in my front and back. Was this a cyst popping? I have been told I have PCOS but I don't think anything has ever popped before. The pain felt slightly familiar but I don't usually have this. I think I am at the ovulation part of my cycle but I don't know much about that either. Does anyone know what happened to me?
