i forgot i had a tampon in...

I'm on day 4 of my period. yesterday afternoon I put a tampon in and completely forgot about. I put another one in this morning...it was a little uncomfortable but I wrote it off to the angle I put it in at. tonight I went to pull it out and pulled them both out at the same time. that didn't feel the greatest but I was also in shock of what I just did. how worried do I need to be about anything bad happening down there? I'm a little sore from yanking out 2 at once but otherwise nothing.
