Christmas Birthdays

If you have a birthday near Christmas, how would you feel if your parents celebrated it in the summer? My baby is due at the end of January, and l just want her to have her own day that isn't overshadowed by Christmas. Now her due date is farther away from Xmas, but often the stores are still not stocked up until a month after. l feel like kids have a hard time understanding that concept and being able to wait. Curious as to what you think if you were born near the holidays.
