First Christmas as a dad, ideas for something special to give?

So this will be my husband's first Christmas as a father and I really want to get him something ("from his daughter") that will be sweet and touching.  Any ideas?

For Father’s Day I got my husband a book from my daughter called “I love you daddy” it was less than five dollars at books a million. I wrote a message inside the front cover talking about all the things he’s going to teach her and do for her. The book is sweet it’s about a daddy bear and cub and the cub wants to be like dad. It’s something he reads to her and also a book we can give her when she has grown up. Just an idea for you that doesn’t cost much!

Think about what sort of daddy he will be...Play catch kind of dad? Get a new mitt, little kid mitt and ball. BBQ dad? Big and little aprons plus a grill utensil set. Football game dad? Big and little jerseys. Daddy daughter dance dad? A dance CD plus shiny shoes for them both she she can dance on his feet. You get the idea.
