Breastfeed babies how often do you feed?

I feed on demand if she wants more but i’ve been feeding her every 3 hours. She’s 14 weeks and 14 pounds. Is this the right schedule? How often do you feed your baby?

Basically on demand, but that tends to be every 3 hours during the day. He does not eat in the middle of the night so we generally get 5-6 feedings during the day depending on if it is a growth period or not. When he is growing he usually just eats for longer, but has added in a feeding for a few days.

Mine wants food every half hour to 1 half think it’s the reflux that’s the problem though as I wind him after he has eaten he goes to sleep then wakes up crying as he got trapped gas I’ve tried various different things then in the end I put him on my breast and it seems to relieve the gas for him but I can’t put him down for longer than 10 minutes as he cries uncontrollably
