Benefits to being a SAHM?!

Question

So my husband and I are going to have a discussion on Sunday and go over our budget together to discuss whether I should work part time once we have baby or be SAHM. 
After looking at the numbers we make enough without my salary, it will be tight at first but we definitely make enough to do it...he's just on the fence about it..he wants me to make a pros list. What are some benefits to being SAHM ? Looking for points I can make to help ease the idea so he sees the benefits. Thank you ! 🤗💖

Idk how much you would make but being part time here would be just enough to pay for daycare.  So basically you would be paying to spend time away from your baby and that's it.  Doesn't seem too worth it if you ask me.  Maybe call around and see the cost of daycare and see how much money you will have after.

we made the decision 3 years ago for me to be a sahm. and my son is my little best friend the bonding you get is amazing. and I feel I was able to teach him stuff to prepare him when he started pre k this year but the connection you get is the best thing in the world.

1. Mothers connection with a baby helps development. 
2. A more personalized approach to parenthood. Puts you in charge not a daycare. 
3. Babies are more connected to their mother they learn more bout life and are more outgoing around them. 
4. You can breast feed easier
5 you decide what is better for your baby not a stranger
6. You can be there if something happens to them aka fall off of something. You know the true story
7. You could always go back to work when they r in school. 
8. A parent and child bond is unlike any other. You don’t want that bond to be between that child and someone else.

-You get to be the one to raise your child.
-You know exactly how much and what your child eats.
-You get to see every first.
-You set your child's schedule.
-If your child has a rough night and you don't get much sleep, you can nap the next day!
-It's easier to breastfeed if you go that route.
-It is a joy (but not all the time 😂) to be with your little one and see them learn and grow.

Your baby will be well attached and adjusted. No need to stress about sleep schedules, getting baby to take a bottle or how the caregiver will treat her. Daycare costs are huge, along with transportation. You can have more of the cooking, cleaning and grocery shopping done eventually. You can raise your baby by your values and not someone else's. You'll be less stressed. Getting up at night won't be as much of a burden. I say go for it!!!
