sex after a cerclage??

I had my cerclage on the 28th. They told me pelvic rest when I was discharged but they never said how long. just wondering your experience with this. I feel so distant from my hubby. way way distant & sad.

No. Absolutely not. Stay on pelvic rest. Find other ways to enjoy intimacy. Give each other a nice massage with massage oils, candle light, and snuggle afterwards. There are plenty of ways to “get close” to one another without intercourse.

Call your doctor and ask for how long. Never leave questions unanswered from them. But definitely don't have sex until cleared by your doctor not random strangers on an app.

I have one & I haven’t had sex in months I wouldn’t risk it. You should be able to hold out and feel close in other ways then sex.
