How do you know if a guy just wants you for sexual reasons, or is interested in more? What would you say the signs are, if any?

I would say actions. if he just wants sex more than likely your only going to be around when he wants sex. if he wants more he would be taking you out on dates and wanting a relationship. my SO was supposed to be a one night stand. that changed when he got my number from his friend and we started hanging out all the time going out together. I developed feelings and just straight up told him I like you do you like me or are we just friends with benefits because at that point we were friends and hanging out not just for sex. I didn't want to wait around trying to figure out what was going on between us. just asking is a good way to find out. we have been together 7 years so clearly he didn't just want sex from me lol.
