Overthinking...? Maybe?

Question

I see all this posts with young women 18-23 (around there kind of) saying there pregnant and happily married and moving into houses and apartments..and im 21..still with my parents , working my ass off at a nursing home and don't make nearly enough for an apartment. I plan on going to school for nursing so Im slowly working my way up there. I just feel like I'll miss my window to have children and get married..My boyfriend makes good money but has a car to pay for that takes up half his checks. This is so frustrating and idk if im just over reacting about this..

It's not a race, you're really young. Plenty of time. When you are 31 you will wish you chilled out and enjoyed your 20s.
I wish I didn't have my kids so young so I could experience what you get to experience. You always want what you don't have!!

Just relax and enjoy your 20's. This decade is all about you.

Girl! Don’t stress! Hubby and I started dating when I was 21, he was 25. We didn’t move out of our childhood homes until 3 years later, 24/27. We didn’t get married until 27/30. And we just got our positive today 28/31. So don’t stress! Go to school now get your life and career going it’ll make everything so much easier later :)

I've been there girl! Same age, same job, same thoughts flying through my head. I finally got a boyfriend at 24 and lost my virginity at 25. Getting married just before I turn 27. It felt terrible at 21 because I'd been crushing on guys since I was 6 and dreaming of being a housewife and that was my only career plan. So by the time I got to 21 it felt like it was hopeless. 15 years waiting for a guy. Hang on.... eventually it happens and you don't care anymore that it took so long. it's just painful now.

Totally overthinking. At your age I was still living in dorms and partying at college, hadn’t even met my partner yet. I had my first kid a couple weeks before I turned 30. It might be good for some, but personally I’m so glad I didn’t start the whole settling down thing until later.

No rush...I’m 24 now. When I was 21 I felt the same way! I felt like everyone I know was getting married having babies and buying homes.  I wanted a proposal and marriage, babies, and a house. We ended up getting married at 23. 2 years after I thought I would be married. Now we have a baby and renting a home. The next big step is a home of our own but I know we will get there eventually. Don’t think you have to have it all figured out. I know 30 year olds who still don’t have it figured out!

I’m totally with you. 25 and in the same boat. I’m not gonna say it’s overthinking, especially it a spouse and kids is something you want. I do. But I will say don’t forget to stop and smell the roses as well
