Am I overreacting?

So my boyfriend is currently annoyed with me cause I apparently can't take a joke...

He knows I have body insecurities and issues with my weight and he tells me how he loves my body and I'm flawless but I feel how I feel.

Sometimes he'll make jokes where he refers to me as a baby elephant and say I'm cute like one and it really pisses me off and I've told him that, today I completely lost it and broke down and it's been hours and he hasn't reached out to me even though I texted him.

I can take a joke but when it's constant it hurts specially when I hear it all the time from my mum and sister.
