How long did you have to try before you got pregnant?

We just started TTC. It’s been 3 months and nothing yet. I always just thought it would happen so easily for me. Every time AF shows up again it’s like a punch in the gut. I know it hasn’t been long, and I’m trying to tell myself that so I don’t obsess over it.. but I would love to know how long it took some of you!

7 years 2 month trying. Chemical in 2015. Currently 17 weeks 2 days with our rainbow.

One baby dance. We were ttc and my fiancé wanted to see how true the "it only takes once" thing is. For us we got lucky and it worked. I think this has to do with a number of things: our fertility, our sex life being very active, and the fact that I never used birth control pills or implants. Also, and this may sound a bit far fetched, but I think not using tampons my entire life had something to do with it- they're made of toxic chemicals you put inside of you, and they hold blood inside of you- and I feel those things have a serious affect on the condition of your reproductive organs.

3 months is short in the grand scheme of things. It takes a young healthy couple on average a year to conceive. We were 9 months with our son.

We got pregnant on our 2nd month. I used ovulation kits and that is the only reason why, we had been completely missing my fertile window

7 months, has a miscarriage, then pregnant the next month. So 8.5ish months.
