Need opinions!

According to glow I’m 4w3d today. My husband and I took a walk around Buy Buy Baby just to get some ideas and see what’s trending in the baby world-this is our first! We absolutely love the Halo bassinet and MaMaRoo seat, but those prices are crazy! Especially for something that probably won’t be used for more than a year! We agreed that we don’t want to put them on our registry so I did some searching on Facebook marketplace and found both of these items for way less than the cost at the store. Two questions... do you think it’s too soon to start buying these items? And, if you’ve used either of these items did you like or not like them? Thanks for your help!
