Do you think that your SO should come home from work to a clean home and warm meal if you are a stay at home wife/mom?

I personally think that he should just because he does so much and I know that's how his mom raised him. I'm 28weeks pregnant right now and I've never been extremely lazy but I literally feel guilty when he comes home and nothing is cooked and it's a mess! So I try my hardest keep up I just feel like that's my duty.

If you aren’t working and stay at home all day then yeah. It would be one thing if you were busy working from home or busy with multiple children.

If you’re home all day and don’t have kids yet then yes. It shouldn’t be a problem to keep the house clean and cook dinner. I mean what else are you doing that could prevent you from doing that? In my mind there’s no reason to be a stay at home wife in the first place but if you’re home all day and literally not doing anything then yeah that’s a problem. I’m self employed and work from home just as many hours a week as those going to a full time job. I have a five month old as well. Our home is still clean and dinner is typically made and on the table when my husband comes home. Sometimes my husband cooks dinner when he gets home so I can tend to our daughter or respond to some emails but being home all day, I find ways to make sure everything gets done.

I kind of agree. I mean obviously since you’re pregnant your main job right now is to eat right, take care of your body, and take it easy. 
I’m 27weeks pregnant right now and I am a stay at home wife currently. My husband never expects the house to be clean or dinner to be on the table because he understands that swollen ankles are no fun.  😂
I do vacuum and tidy up but I don’t do everything. He lives in our house as well and contributes to the dishes mess and to the piled up laundry so we either take turns or do it together.

I believe since your pregnant you should do what you can without straining yourself because you have to take care of you and the baby. But if your a stay at home wife I do believe the man should come home to a cooked meal and a clean house. He is out working. I do however believe that when he isn't working he should help keep the house clean and cook once in a while. You shouldn't do all of it.

A stay at home mom and a stay at home wife are completely different. If you’re a stay at home wife meaning your job is to keep your home life in order then yes. I believe you should have the house tidy.
As a stay at home mom you have countless other things you need to worry about. I think your man should thank you for keeping your LO alive 🙌 and not complain about the dishes in the sink.

it depends. Im a stay at home mom of a 6 year old and 2 year old. some days the house is spotless and dinner is done at a good time. other days im struggling to clean and get dinner started but my SO doesnt mind. he actually prefers to help me out. especially with dinner, he loves helping me cook and create new dishes. 😍 also Im a part time student lol.

I was pregnant during the 1st year we were together, so I felt the same. That changed years later. After 3 years now I dont give a shit if he comes home to dirty dishes in the sink
