Need help with job applications

I recently got terminated from my job. I worked there two years. But after having my daughter last year in December it got really hard me to make it to work sometimes as my husband and I share one car and my daughter was only 4 months at the time. She used to cry all night and my husband is the only one who could take care of her because we don’t have anyone else and we don’t like daycares. My job wanted me to quit but I didn’t want to, all i asked was for help. If I could get less hours or work on the weekend and they said no. So I stopped showing up to work but said I wasn’t quitting. They put me on personal leave. When I asked when was I able to go back I said December 4th. This was this September. I then got a call back and said that wasn’t going to happen so I said I wasn’t quitting then. So they terminated me which I was ok with. I kind of deserved but I had a lot go pride and I wasn’t going to quit my job. Now I’m applying for a new job but each job application is asking me reason for leaving. My husband said don’t put that I was terminated but also don’t lie. I just need to find a nice way to say it so my chances of getting the job are higher. Can anyone help me? I don’t know what to put
