When did you start going out at night (date night, out with friends) without your baby?

My daughter is 9 months and I’ve never been without her nor do I feel like I want to go anywhere without her. I enjoy taking her everywhere with me. Just curious what other mommys experiences. I know it can be healthy to have a break but I honestly don’t need it.....YET.

My son is 4 months and I haven’t been out without him yet lol. My parents are offering to watch him monthly so my SO and I can have date nights!

My son is 14 months old and I haven’t been away from him yet. My husband works a lot so when he’s home we want to spend time as a family plus we don’t really have anyone to watch him that we trust. My grandparents just moved back from out of state so maybe soon!

I went out at night for the first time on my birthday when my daughter was only 2 1/2 months old. We only left her for about three hours and then came right back home. I didn’t go out at night again until about four months later. So, I would say she was about six months old when I was comfortable enough to leave her overnight with her grandmother. That only happened a few times. Then when she was about 18 months old my fiancé and I went to Chicago for four days… And that was really the first time we left her for longer than one night. After that, we got a lot more comfortable with it and began going out a few times a month.
