How long should you wait after BC to begin TTC?

Hi ladies! I am getting mixed answers on this topic. My new doctor recommended that we have a full cycle following birth control before TTC to help prevent the chance of miscarriage, but another doc said no need to wait. What have you heard? Just want to be as purposeful as possible becomes my first ovulation window is set to be this week (🤞🏼 because I have a history of PCOS & Endometriosis) so want to try if we can, but want to wait for next month if necessary! My hubby wants to go ahead and try but I definitely want to do what is best and will provide the most healthy potential home to attach to 😉
