Was your partner able to visit you during basic training? It's 12 weeks, and about a 6 hour drive away. I'll go that long if I have to, but I'm just curious, as he doesn't know yet and we have no friends in the military to ask. Thanks

Just an edit, I'm simply asking if I'd be able to see him, as I do not know. Of course I want to, of course I'm nervous and worried. But I'm also supportive and determined and will not jeopardize him and his career by just showing up or sending him things.
