How do I get over a breakup?

I’ve recently broken up with my boyfriend of a year and half😔 things were too complicated. How do I get over it?

First off, I'm terribly sorry, breakups are one of the hardest things to go through. Second, time is truly the only thing that works. I had a friend who broke off a two year relationship, she was shattered the first few weeks, but she got over it with time.  Try distracting yourself for right now, throw yourself into your work, your passions, focus on yourself. You had a life before this relationship, continue it. I know this sounds like age old advice, but it works. Good luck to you.
