Potty training

I need ideas on potty training. I’m about to go get my baby her first potty in a couple days & see how she reacts to it. I figured I would get the summer my size potty since it looks just like the real one and it makes the flush sound. (She loves to help me flush the toilet). I was going to give her a couple days to check it out and then start trying to get her to use it. But how do I start the process?? I heard I should put her in undies because she won’t like the feel of being wet but I really don’t like the idea of pee all over the house lol. & I can’t imagine undies holding any pee. Do you think it would still work if I put undies on & a diaper over them? Or is it the pee down their leg that they hate? I need step by step advise on what worked for you with a girl & how long it took
