Co-ed baby shower? 🤔

I’m debating on doing a baby shower where both women and men can come (since most of our friends are in relationships or married) and I think it would be unique. My best friend loves the idea but my husband is more traditional and isn’t sold yet as he hasn’t heard of many people doing it. good idea? Yes or no?

that's what we did and it was awesome!! my SO loved opening presents. we still played games, the guys mostly hung outside and grilled and drank a few. it was a blast.

I'm having one! I think it's just important not to go too traditional with it if you do- have it a little more lax and have more games that everyone will want to play, and stuff everyone will want to do.
I'm having a coed party, it's going to be a bonfire with a bag toss game, three legged race, music, beer, hotdogs, ring toss, and only a few baby shower related games that won't drag on or be awkward for the guys. 
If I only invited girls/women it would be small and boring imo! I love my male relatives and friends!

We’re having a co-ed celebration for our baby. I didn’t want a shower as it’s my third but it’s my boyfriends first and he wanted to have something to celebrate her. We’ve hired a cabana at a kid friendly hotel and are putting on some food and drinks for our friends and family.

I had a coed baby shower BBQ. and even the single guys brought gifts. My husband grilled and got to hang out with guys and got in on the fun.

So between all sides of my family, I am having 3 baby showers because that’s just the way my family is and I have way too many sides. I will have one of them a co-Ed baby shower. I was thinking of doing it where the men hangout in another part of the house, watch the game drink whatever but they have to bring a thing of diapers or wipes to chill with the boys. Then the girls will play their games, talk and whatever And if they boys wanted to be present during gifts they may!  Just an idea!

It's totally fine to throw a co-ed baby shower! Two people made the baby :) 
However, I don't think it's fine to require males to attend. My husband doesn't really want to go to a baby shower in a couple months, but I was told I have to help plan it and he was told he has to be there. Finding a date that worked for all of the males and females was a huge pain.
