Is it weird I feel like I can't talk to my BF about our pregnancy?

This is our second pregnancy. Lost our first due to miscarriage a year ago. Neither were planned. I am super excited because well I'm 33 (he is 36) and time is ticking and all I've ever wanted is to be a mommy one day. We have talked about this scenario (what if I do get pregnant) and his response is "I want to be financially stable." which by the way, he sucks with money. Gets it and it's gone just because he's got it. Anywho, that's a different rant. I digress, I want to enjoy this whole journey and I want him to be as excited and optimistic as I am, but he doesn't ask about it and anytime I simply update him on my beta #s or just say "I have a Dr. Appt tomorrow " the response is, "ok." Does anyone else feel like their alone with their SO? I'm super frustrated.
