Formula?

New to using formula, can we mix it using tap/ refrigerator water or do we need to buy bottled? Google is mixed..

It depends on how the water is where you live. The month my baby was born we had 2 hurricanes and though the water wasnt affected this time (it was last year after Matthew) we just buy the gallons of nursery water. .88-1.00 at walmart.

Where I live, lead is very common in the pipes of homes built before 1978 which makes lead poisoning a common problem. It's probably better to use bottled water.

Where I live tap water is totally fine so it just depends on your area. Use nursery water if you need it. It is made for mixing formula bottles.

At 6 months the Dr told me I can start using tap water, as long as the water source was not a well. If your water is city and consider clean, then I would go with that. I used the one from the GE fridge because that also had a filter that I change every 6 months.
