Judgy people
Ok so I'm posting this partially to vent and partially for advice. I have a 7 month old and am still nursing him when I'm not at work. When I'm at work I pump and he gets that milk at school. I make his baby food, and am just doing the best I can with everything.
I have an older sister who is pregnant with her 4th baby. Every decision I make in parenting (among other things) is met with a judgy comment or a nasty face from my sister. "are you ever going to feed him real food" regarding making my own, "if you'd stop nursing him, Alex could help with night feedings", "when is he going to spend the night at mom and dad's?" (Her kids spend the night there probably 3 nights a week, I'm just not ready for him to sleep away from me yet). Yesterday's comment was about me nursing him to sleep, causing (made up) sleeping problems.
I don't want to be nasty because she is my sister and family means a lot to me. But I'm not sure how to handle things. Any advice? Sorry for the rambling post, I'm frustrated!
