Anyone here do both cloth and disposable diapers?

Ki

Not really a crunchy mom, just want my kids to have an actual habitable planet...

So we’re changing small things here and there to be better. We decided with baby #2 we’re going to do mostly cloth diapering but still use disposables less than half of the time. I mean each diaper takes 200-500 years to decompose.

My husband and I both work, my mother lives with us and will be working part time (she lives with us, not we live with her—it’s a culture thing lol). So we can’t 100% commit to cloth diapering.

Has anyone had experience in doing this? I have no friends who have. Which means every single diaper that a friend used or even we used is still sitting in a landfill somewhere, nowhere near composting.
