pcos and loryna

so i’ve been on metformin for pcos for a month now but i’ve also been prescribed loryna birth control for it but i didn’t wanna take it because i’ve been on depo shot for over 2 years and got off it like 4 months ago cause it made me gain weight bad :( but i have this big patch of hair growing on my chin it’s only getting worse i don’t want a beard so should i take the loryna pills they gave me will it stop the hair? and will it counteract with the metformin and make me gain weight again ?(since metformin supposed to help you lose weight)

or ask for a diff bc pill brand? please help!

(even any tips for stopping facial hair growth please!!)
