My “Ex” and my “Boyfriend”

So this dude and I were not really dating but it felt like it and we “loved” each other. We don’t like each other anymore but now I like one of his best friends. That guy is not the guy people would think I like but I do. One of my other friends asked him if he liked me because she and him are close. Turns out he likes me and I like him. I have one class with him and it’s going to be awkward because we both know we like each other. The funniest part of the story is that when my friend found out he liked me she said “Looks like your getting a bf” and I responded “I’m not ready”. Idk what to do?? Help

UPDATE: I decided I’m ready. He didn’t just side into the dms HE FREAKING DOVE INTO THE DMS. Also we are dating now. Any tips??

UPDATE: Turns out the other guy still likes me and I turned him down because the other guy asked me before he said anything. He was to embarrassed to tell me he liked me so I moved on and now I’m with the other guy. Now I made the guy feel bad because I turned him down but he didn’t know until last night about me being with the guy
