38 weeks today and my doctor said baby's stomach is measuring larger than normal?

I don't know what it means, my doctor said there's nothing we can do at this point but it could mean she will have a hard time with feedings. Has anyone else heard of this? Any experiences with this? She is around 8lbs7oz at this point and she is already considered large.

No experience sorry but I am guessing maybe because her stomach is larger than normal, she will have a higher appetite and as colostrum only gives a few ml as their stomach usually can only fit that, she may be hungrier or want to feed more or they may push you to supplement formula. I am unsure but just persevere through breastfeeding if you can because your milk comes in about day 3 and then you will have more than enough! You may have to top her up for a couple days. Hopefully that’s all it means anyway as that’s easy :)
