Vulvadynia

Anyone been diagnosed with vulvadynia and find something that helps with the pain? I'm in pain with or without sex so I can hardly ever have sex because the pain gets worse and I swell like crazy. It's really hard to enjoy, the dr prescribed lidocaine to try but it's not helping. It makes me feel really badly about myself and my boyfriend thinks it's something to do with him when really it's just me and causes no sex drive just because I know it'll hurt 😔 please if anyone has experiences to share that'd be great
