Water leaking?

I'm 31 weeks tomorrow and I feel like my water may be leaking. I'm going to the hospital to make sure it's not but has anyone had experience with it? What did they do and did the baby turn out to be okay?

they will swab you and put the swab on a test strip that looks like a pregnancy test. it takes 10min for the result, it pops up either two lines (pos) or one line (neg) for amniotic fluid. I had to get checked at 31.5wks cause I thought my water was leaking as I had dampened through pads. Turns out I have an overachiever vagina that loves to release clear watery discharge 😑 especially since my son is head down pushing on my cervix. Better safe than sorry though! They might do a vaginal exam too, they did for me.

They will lay you on your side for an hour I think it is, if it is your hind waters it will slowly pool and fill a pad. I’m pretty sure they can dip check it to see if it’s amniotic as well. But no I do not have experience with this. Fingers crossed for you 🤞🏼
