Sent home. But I knew that was coming

I had my 39 week appointment today. And after an entire day of contractions I still was not dilated. Big bummer. But my doctor said to go walk around for two hours and go eat. Which we did. And my contractions were four minutes apart on the monitor. But still. No cervical change. So they gave me something to sleep and sent me on my way for the night. I work L&D; so I knew that was coming. No biggie. I just hope I can sleep 😫 I am so so tired. Or I hope this kicks in for real
